STEWARDSHIP & ADMINISTRATION: Required Boards & Committees

Administrative Board
Oversees overall policies and operation of the church.

Board of Trustees
Legally responsible for the church. Oversees building maintenance and improvements.

Church Treasurer
Under the direction of the Finance Committee, oversees financial operations.

Committee on Lay Leadership
Recruits members of standing committees, facilitates the involvement of members in every area of ministry.

Finance Committee
Oversees financial matters affecting the church.

Lay delegates to Annual Conference
Represent North Church at Annual Conference, along with clergy.

Lay Leader(s)
Represent the congregation as a whole in administrative and policy discussions.

Staff-Parish Relations Committee
Confers with pastor and staff to aid in providing effective ministry and to interpret to the congregation the nature and function of the ministry.
